Packaging design for a blind box collection by 3D artist Sebastiano De Rosa. The project focused on translating the artist's signature designer toy style into a high-impact, collectible visual experience.
Challenges
Balancing the element of surprise intrinsic to the blind box format with clear, attractive collection previewing. The structure and layout needed to feature each distinct character across the packaging sides, maintaining visual balance while creating a highly desirable object for global collectors.
Solution
Graphic and structural packaging design translating the artist’s 3D universe into a bold, hand-crafted visual language. The design features warm pencil textures and spontaneous, child-like line art to reflect the whimsical narrative of the "Mini Kokoro" characters, depicting the original figure in playful, bizarre situations. Launched on the artist's official store, the collection achieved a complete sell-out within days of release.
